Yashasvi Jaiswal hit a match-winning century as Nepal went down fighting against India in the quarterfinal of the men’s cricket event by 23 runs at the Asian Games on Tuesday.
Jaiswal became the youngest T20I centurion from the country as he smashed a 49-ball-100 to guide India to 202/4. Nepal, however, were in no mood to give up easily as they gave a tough fight with the bat but lack of experience became their undoing as their innings ended on 179 for 9, ensuring a last four spot for Ruturaj Gaikwad’s men.
