Heinrich Klaasen and Jaydev Unadkat visited a shopping mall amid the exhausting cricket schedule but it turned out to be a not-so-memorable experience for them after they were mobbed by several fans, who requested autographs and selfies.

The South African wicketkeeper-batter, Klaasen, has been prolific in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. He has mesmerised the cricket fraternity with his remarkable six-hitting ability and has become the fan-favourite in his team, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). When the fans saw a glimpse of the SRH stars, they couldn't control their emotions and surrounded them to create moments that would last a lifetime. The mall was reverberating with chants of Klaasen as the fans went berserk to get a picture with the SRH players. Strangely, there was only one person to escort the players out of the building and to a safe place.

The fans flooded around the players, who had very little space to walk freely and were inadvertently pushed. This seemed to irritate Klaasen, as he was seen asking the fans to calm down. Klaasen has always acknowledged the adulation he has received from the fans. After SRH's match against Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, the right-handed batter gifted his helmet to a fan in the stands. The players wanted to enjoy a little bit of a break after the crucial win but the excess love from the fans didn't allow that to happen.

Absolute madness! Poor Klaassen getting harassed by the crowd... But how did SRH management allow such a huge number of fans without any safety precautions? pic.twitter.com/B5pECptXDz
