Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are sitting pretty at the top of the table and need just one win to make it to the playoffs. Shreyas Iyer and the team are high on confidence after their last few games where they have been unstoppable with the bat and ball. 

The two-time IPL winners also hold the edge over Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024. Their 24-run win in Wankhede Stadium was on the back of a fifty by Venkatesh Iyer and 4 wickets from Mitchell Starc.

The former Mumbai Indians skipper is woefully short of form with the bat after his failures in the last few games. Most of those dismissals have come against the left-arm pacers during this season of the IPL. Rohit Sharma though enjoys a good record at the Eden Gardens stadium and needs a good knock to come back to form with the T20 World Cup around. 

Mitchell Starc on the other hand has been able to regain his touch with the ball in the last few matches. The costliest player in the history of IPL took 4 wickets at the Wankhede Stadium to show why he was invested heavily. The player battle between Rohit Sharma and Mitchell Starc will be one to watch out for when the two sides meet on Saturday.
