In the 35th match of the Indian Premier League, high-flying Sunrisers Hyderabad travelled to Delhi to face the Delhi Capitals. The hosts won the toss and opted to field first, hoping to use the dew factor in the second half. Skipper Rishabh Pant informed that the side have made three changes, with the biggest one being the comeback of overseas batter David Warner along with Anrich Nortje and Lalit Yadav.

The spinners were able to turn the tide of the match as Kuldeep grabbed the wicket of Travis Head and Axar Patel sent back the dangerous Heinrich Klaasen.
