Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals: Weather Forecast And Pitch Report of Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai- IPL 2022 Match 69. Mumbai Indians face off against Delhi Capitals in their last league match of IPL 2022. They would like to finish with a win having lost 10 games this season. For Delhi, this game is a must-win if they are to make the playoffs. A loss will end their campaign as well.

A total of 74 matches will be played in IPL 2022 across the four venues in Maharashtra. 20 matches each will be played at the Wankhede Stadium and the DY Patil Stadium while 15 games each will be played at the Brabourne Stadium and the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Group A has teams like MI, KKR, DC, RR, and LSG. Group B consists of CSK, RCB, SRH, PBKS, and GT.

By winning the last two matches rather comprehensively, Delhi Capitals have moved up to the fourth spot on the points table. They have a better NRR than RCB, SRH and PBKS and all they need is to win the game for them to make the playoffs. They have had an uneven campaign but a win against Mumbai Indians can be the ideal confidence booster they need heading into the knockout stage.

Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, would look to end their campaign on a high. They will have PBKS, SRH and RCB fans backing them to beat Mumbai in this game. Nothing has gone right in their campaign so far. A win would be an ideal way to end the season as they look forward to the next year.

Mumbai have been very hot and humid throughout the season. The weather condition predicted for this game is also expected to be hot and humid. This is Mumbai’s third straight game at the Wankhede.

The last match saw SRH score 193 and Mumbai reaching 190 in the quest to chase it down. There has been no dew in the second half of the season as the pitches have assisted spinners more than pacers. The Wankhede pitch however has assisted both spinners and pacers alike in the second half.
