Dinesh Karthik who has reinvented himself in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, was still hoping for his inclusion in the T20 World Cup 2024. Karthik, a 38-year-old, is in great form in IPL, he has scored 301 runs in 12 games at an average of 50.17. Karthik had played in the previous edition of the T20 WC at the age of 37. He is the oldest Indian player to feature in T20 World Cup.

R Ashwin

Ravichandran Ashwin did not make it to the India squad in the upcoming T20 World Cup. But, he was a part of the T20 World Cup 2022 where he was 35 years and 360 day old.

Ashish Nehra

Ashish Nehra’s last World Cup was in 2016 when he has 36 years and 336 days. He had taken 5 wickets in the tournament.

Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma will feature in the upcoming T20 World Cup as the captain of the team. In last edition, he was 35 year and 135 days old where he scored 116 runs in 6 games.

Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh was 35 years and 271 days in the T20 World Cup 2016 which was his last edition. Harbhajan has picked up 16 wickets in T20 World Cup.
