Gujarat Titans (GT) are enduring a dismal season in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year. With only three wins and four losses so far in IPL 2024, their performance has been below par. GT had enjoyed successful campaigns in the past, including a title win and reaching the final in IPL 2023. However, since the departure of their former captain Hardik Pandya, the fortunes of the franchise have taken a downturn. It’s evident that GT needs to revamp their squad for the next season in order to turn their fortunes around and achieve positive results.

Umesh Yadav
Umesh Yadav was bought by Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2024 Auction for Rs 5.80 crore, marking his highest price in IPL history. Umesh has played six matches and has taken seven wickets so far. GT would like to have a young pacer alongside him who could consistently take wickets for the team.
Wriddhiman Saha
The Gujarat Titans’ wicketkeeper-batsman has played five matches but has failed to produce a significant innings. He has scored only 78 runs at an average of 15.60. GT would search for a better wicketkeeper who could bat explosively down the order.

Vijay Shankar
GT needed a two-dimensional display from Vijay Shankar as they were counting on him as an all-rounder in the team. However, Vijay disappointed with his performance as he scored only 73 runs in six matches. He did not bowl in this season.
Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Khan was bought to the team for Rs 7.4 crore considering his domestic performance. The all-rounder has played two matches and scored just 14 runs.
