Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, shared a beautiful message for skipper MS Dhoni after his team’s thrilling five-wicket victory against Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League 2023 final game at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium. In a post that quickly became viral on social media, Jadeja, who scored the winning runs for CSK versus GT in their team’s record-equaling victory, dedicated the IPL trophy to Dhoni. “We did it for ONE and ONLY “MS DHONI. mahi bhai aapke liye toh kuch bhi…,” Jadeja tweeted.

For a number of years, Jadeja has played a significant role in the CSK. He has played under MS Dhoni, both for India and in the IPL. In the final game against the Gujarat Titans Pandya on Monday, May 29, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Jadeja performed absolutely brilliantly. Jadeja smashed a six and a four off Mohit Sharma with CSK needing 10 runs to win off their final two balls.
The southpaw made sure the Super Kings won by five wickets (DLS) and tied the Mumbai Indians for the most IPL titles with five. CSK completed the task of chasing down the increased mark of 171 runs off the final ball as Jadeja remained undefeated on 15 runs off six balls.
“It feels amazing, to win my fifth title in front of my home crowd. I am from Gujarat, and it is a special feeling. This crowd has been amazing. They were waiting for rain to stop till late night, I would like to say a big congratulations to the CSK fans who came to support us.
“I would like to dedicate this win to a special member of the CSK side, MS Dhoni. I was just thinking I need to swing hard, as much as I can. Where the ball will go, I was not thinking about that, just looking to swing hard. I was backing myself and looking to hit straight, because I know Mohit can bowl those slower balls,” said Jadeja after the match.“
