The Men’s 10m air rifle qualification and team final is already underway and India's Rudrankksh Patil, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Divyansh Singh Panwar are part of it. 

Also underway is the Men’s 25m rapid fire pistol qualification phase 2 which has India's Anish, Vijayveer Sidhu, Adarsh Singh participating in it.

Asian Games medals tally

After winning 5 medals, India are 7th in the medals tally, while China lead with 30 medals including 20 gold.

Indian women's cricket team reached the final on Sunday by beating Bangladesh by eight wickets in the semi-finals. They are guaranteed of a silver and will play the gold medal match against Sri Lanka today.

India won 5 medals on Sunday, also officially the Day 1 of the Asian Games 2023. The first one came in shooting as Ramita Jindal, Mehuli Ghosh and Ashi Chouksey grabbed the silver in the women's 10m Air Rifle event. Ramita also won bronze in the individual event, while three medals including two silvers and one bronze came in rowing.
