The fast-paced nature of T20 cricket often results in players breaking several records and registering new feats. During Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 match between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 30 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, veteran Indian yorker specialist Bhuvneshwar Kumar also scripted history.
Although the cricketer has had some great times in Indian cricket, he continues to be a key wicket-taker for the defending champions in the IPL. While the match did not go RCB’s way, Bhuvneshwar Kumar went on to become only the second bowler to pick over 350 wickets in men’s T20s. He got GT opener Sai Sudharsan as his 350th T20 scalp, courtesy Jitesh Sharma taking a brilliant diving catch behind the wickets.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has now become the first Indian pacer to complete 350 T20 wickets. He has reached there before Jasprit Bumrah, who still needs three wickets at the time of writing. Bumrah has had an ordinary IPL 2026, giving Bhuvneshwar ample time to get ahead in the pack.
While Bhuvneshwar is only the second with now 352 wickets after Yuzvendra Chahal, who boasts 391 wickets under his belt. Let’s take a look at the list of players with most wickets in T20 cricket.
