MI has refuted rumours about Rohit Sharma leaving the franchise. Yuvraj Singh to become IPL coach?
InsideSport has learnt that Yuvraj Singh is currently in talks with LSG to take over as their head coach for the IPL 2026 season. The 2-time World Cup winner was previously reported to be in talks with DC and GT, but neither panned out. If Yuvraj joins LSG, Justin Langer will have to leave as their head coach.

KKR confirm head coach
KKR has announced Abhishek Nayar as their head coach for the IPL 2026 season. Reports had suggested that the current assistant coach will be handed a promotion, and KKR have confirmed them. Nayar, who has been with the 2-time IPL champions since 2018, will replace Chandrakant Pandit.

Samson, India’s new no. 11?
Krishnamachari Srikkanth has bashed Gautam Gambhir for his treatment of Sanju Samson. The former India chief selector has mockingly said that the management that demoted Samson from opener to number 8 in the Asia Cup might even send him to bat at number 11 going forward.

Suryavanshi’s India A debut soon?
Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre could both make their India A debut soon. The Emerging Teams Asia Cup has been rebranded as the Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship, and the BCCI will send their ‘A’ team for the 8-team tournament in Doha, Qatar. Both Suryavanshi and Mhatre are likely to be picked.
