Ravichandran Ashwin has confirmed his next assignment after retiring from the Indian Premier League (IPL) and is headed to Hong Kong next. Despite breaking through the Asia Cup deadlock, Pakistan and the PCB still continue to threaten the Indian cricket team and the ICC over the handshake row. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reportedly getting ready to file a formal complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC) in response to Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav’s post-match dedication of the victory to the military and victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, which has caused tension across the border. Ravichandran Ashwin will make his first cricket appearance at the Hong Kong Super Sixes following his retirement from the IPL. The 38-year-old called time on his career in the Indian league, seeking opportunity to explore overseas.
