Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja on Thursday became the most successful Test bowling pair for India on Day 1 of the first Test against England at Hyderabad. The spin duo picked up three wickets together in the first session to surpass the pair of Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh.

Ashwin and Jadeja have together taken 502 wickets in Test cricket, breaking the the record held by Kumble and Singh who had taken 501 wickets in 54 matches.
