All 10 franchises of the Indian Premier League (IPL) are ready with their squad for the upcoming tournament. There were some absolute steals in the auction where teams bought valuable players at the ‘best’ price.

Rachin Ravindra

Rachin Ravindra made his debut at the IPL 2024 auction with 1.8 crore. The ODI World Cup 2023 hero will play under MS Dhoni’s leadership as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bought him as their first purchase in the auction.

Travis Head

Sunrises Hyderabad swopped an excellent deal by buying in-form batter Travis Head at 6.8 crore. Head played a key role in the victory of Australia in ODI World Cup 2023 with 137 runs in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Azmatullah Omarzai

A promising player from Afghanistan Azmatullah Omarzai picked by Gujarat Titans at a base price of 50 lakhs. He gained the spotlight in the ODI World Cup 2023 where he gave some stellar performances.

Shardul Thakur 

Shardul Thakur’s price dipped from 10 crore after CSK bought him at 4 crore. Shardul can do wonders under the guidance of captain MS Dhoni. The Indian all-rounder has taken 89 wickets and 286 runs in 86 matches.

Gerald Coetzee

Gerald Coetzee will join Jasprit Bumrah for the pacer attack of Mumbai Indians (MI). The South African pacer was the teams leading wicket taker at the ODI World Cup 2023 with 20 wickets.
