Faf Du Plessis, the skipper of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), won the toss and chose to bowl first against Gujarat Titans (GT) led by Shubman Gill, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Sai Sudharasan played an excellent innings, which helped Gujarat Titans reach a score of 200/3 in the first innings against RCB in Match 45 of the IPL 2024 (Indian Premier League). Bengaluru's one down, Will Jacks, smashed a century, which helped RCB to win the crucial game by nine wickets. Virat Kohli also played a vital role in the victory by scoring a half-century.

1. Virat Kohli takes economical Sai Kishore to the cleaners

Sai Kishore has been a plus point for Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2024. The left-arm spinner has been at his miserly best. He continued the same drill against RCB until Virat Kohli decided to take him down. Kohli smashed a six towards long off and followed it with another maximum towards long on. He seemed pumped up as he hit those classy hits.

2. Rajat Patidar displays sheer athleticism in saving a boundary

RCB were mercurial in the field against GT. They came with an intent and the same was palpable throughout the game. Sai Sudharsan tried to chip one through mid-off and Patidar who was stationed, ran for his life and prevented the ball from reaching the boundary rope.

3. Will Jacks smash Rashid Khan for a 29-run over

Will Jacks was on song against GT bowlers. He had shit Mohit Sharma for a 29-run over before Rashid Khan came to bowl the 16^th over. Jacks charged the Afghan with four maximums and a boundary and fetched 29 runs. He reached his maiden IPL century with his final six and he did so in just 41 deliveries.
