Faf Du Plessis and his Royal Challengers Bengaluru side came into the game high on confidence having won their last two matches. The last time these two sides met it was RCB who won the match thanks to a ton by Will Jacks.

The Gujarat Titans team will depend on Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan to bat well and take the score to some respectability. With the pitch helping the bowlers the visiting side will be licking their lips and waiting to get a chance to bowl.

Once the second time-out was done Rahul Tewatia went after Karn Sharma and hit for 3 fours and a six. During the over the 30-year-old went past 1000 runs in the IPL in his 92nd game. Tewatia has hit one half-century with an average of 25 and a strike rate of 134.

Rahul Tewatia tried to fight back with a gritty 35 runs 21 balls but the RCB bowlers kept their composure. Vijay Shankar came in as the impact player and scored 10 before he was dismissed by Vijaykumar Vyshak with 3 balls left to play in the final over.
