The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League concluded with MS Dhoni's side lifting their fifth IPL title after edging past Gujarat Titans in a thrilling final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Following his side's narrow victory, iconic CSK skipper MS Dhoni has vowed to return for one more season to thank the fans for their unrelenting support.

Following that cathartic moment, the legendary cricketer vowed to come back next year as a parting gift to the fans for the love and support he received from all around the country.
