The legendary Virat Kohli's statue was unveiled in Jaipur at the city’s wax museum on Thursday, April 18. On World Heritage Day, the former India captain was immortalized with a mesmerising statue, weighing 35 kg.

Kohli's statue took around two months to be completely sculpted. The museum, located on Nahargarh Fort premises, already contains 44 wax statues, including ones of former India captains and iconic cricketers - MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar.

“They (tourists) had a strong opinion that Kohli’s statue should be in the museum. The wax statue was unveiled today on World Heritage Day,” Anoop Srivastava was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.

Prominent personalities from various fields have statues at the museum. Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, APJ Abdul Kalam, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Kalpana Chawala, Amitabh Bachchan and Mother Teresa are some of the statues that can be seen at the location.
