The fourth season of the Major League Cricket (MLC 2026) will take place between June 18 to July 18 next year. The previous edition of the tournament was also played in the same window and it has been retained to avoid overlapping with other international tournaments and leagues like The Hundred. MLC 2026 will see 34 matches being played across the one-month window.

Season 3 showed that demand for top-tier cricket in the USA is real and accelerating,” said MLC chief executive Johnny Grave. “We’re continuing to build our fan base and provide more access to the game across the country.”

As per Cricbuzz, ticket sales for MLC 2025 saw a 53% growth year on year while the league’s social media following rose to 45%.

Four of the six MLC franchises have ownership ties to Indian Premier League (IPL) teams. These include MI New York (Mumbai Indians), Texas Super Kings (Chennai Super Kings), LA Knight Riders (Kolkata Knight Riders), and Seattle Orcas (Delhi Capitals). That’s not the only Indian link in MLC. In fact, Washington Freedom is owned by Indian-born American entrepreneur Sanjay Govil. Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan, co-founders of Cambrian Ventures, own the San Francisco Unicorns.
