The Indian Premier League (IPL) might get a new title sponsor for the next edition of the Indian T20 League. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the release of ‘Invitation to Tender for Title Sponsor Rights’ for IPL editions 2024-2028.

“The Governing Council of the Indian Premier League (IPL) invites bids from reputed entities for acquiring the Title Sponsor Rights for the Indian Premier League Seasons 2024-2028”, BCCI announced in a press release.

Notably, Tata Group took over the title sponsorship from VIVO after the Chinese company withdrew due to political tension between both countries in 2022. The contract was valid till the end of the 2024 season and the BCCI have now put out fresh tenders for the same.
