Let us look at the players RCB would like to bid in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Auction.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is filled with star players but they lack a balanced side and therefore they have found it difficult to clinch the Indian Premier League (IPL) title. RCB has a super hit top order with class batters like Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis but they need a talented batter in middle order. They also need a skillful bowler who can pick wickets at any moment of the game. Therefore, in upcoming IPL 2024 Auction, RCB would like to buys the following players to boost their teams performance.

Dunith Wellalage for Karn Sharma

Karn Sharma was disappointing in the previous IPL season as he went expensive with his bowling with an economy of 10.37. RCB needs a spinner who can finish his overs quickly. Sharma could be released by the team to pick someone more valuable.

RCB could buy Dunith as he impressed everyone with his spin bowling. The Sri Lankan bowler has consistently performed for his team and now he would be keen to play in his first IPL season.

Bas de Leede will be in huge demand in the IPL 2024 Auction. The Netherlands all-rounder picked 16 wickets and scored 448 runs in the ODI World Cup 2023. He has been a revelation for the Netherlands as he has been a leading run-scorer for his nation.

Sadeera Samarawickrama for Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik has not played cricket for a long time and the possibility is that he will not play this year’s IPL. In the absence of Karthik, RCB would desperately want a good wicketkeeping batter.
