The management of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore gifted a jersey to the team of Salaar and the picture has gone viral on social media. Actor Prabhas, who is well known for the 'Bahubali' movies, was also present at the success party of the movie and he posed with the RCB jersey. RCB will be looking to win their maiden IPL title in the upcoming 2024 season of the competition and with stalwarts like Virat Kohli and Faf Du Plessis among their ranks, they will be quite confident.

The auction saw the record for the most expensive player break twice. Australia star Mitchell Starc became the most expensive player in the history of the tournament as he was bagged by Kolkata Knight Riders for a price tag of Rs24.75 crore.
Along with this the IPL 2024 auction recorded an increase of 57 per cent from the previous auction's viewers.
