Ravindra Jadeja engages in hilarious Instagram banter with wife Rivaba

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja found himself in a viral Instagram banter with his wife Rivaba Jadeja, leaving fans in splits. Jadeja, a vital cog in the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) setup, is known for his competitive spirit on the field. However, his recent Instagram comment showed his playful side. 

Rivaba had posted a picture of herself wearing a t-shirt with the word 'Hukum' (order) printed on it, and Jadeja's photo could be seen in the background. Seizing the opportunity, Jadeja cheekily commented, "Mera hukum hai room aao jaldi" (My order is, to come to the room quickly). This cheeky remark sparked many reactions from fans, who found the exchange between the couple hilarious.

CSK faces GT in the second match

Jadeja is playing in the ongoing IPL season with CSK. Jadeja was given the role of captaincy in the 2022 season, could not find much success which led to MS Dhoni stepping back to the captaincy shoes once again. Recently the baton shifted to the young Ruturaj Gaikwad.

CSK head coach Stephen Fleming has expressed how Jadeja can help Gaikwad in tricky situations, stating, "Jadeja went into CSK folklore with those two shots that he played in the last two balls of the last IPL. Jadeja is a tough character and there is a strong component of leadership in him and Ruturaj will use his help," Fleming said as quoted by NDTV Sports.

Ruturaj found success in his debut game as the CSK skipper as the Chennai-based franchise won the opening game of the IPL 2024 season against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by six wickets. Jadeja scored 25 runs off 17 balls to guide his team to victory with eight balls remaining. CSK is gearing up for their second encounter against Gujarat Titans on March 26 at home.
