Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are on the verge of elimination after their loss against the Mumbai Indians making them go all out and win the next three games to be in a better position of qualifying to the top four of IPL 2023.

They now face the Rajasthan Royals (RR) who are coming after a huge win against the Kolkata Knight Riders. After electing to field first, the Sanju Samson led side restricted KKR to a mere score of 149. In reply Yashasvi Jaiswal went berserk and took Nitish Rana to the cleaners. He started off the chase by scoring 26 runs in the very first over and was supported by skipper Samson, as they added 121 for the second wicket.

Knight Riders were never really in the game and ultimately lost when RR chased it down in just 13.1 overs. Jaiswal ended up unbeaten on 98 while Sanju Samson scored 48 off 29. They would now be wanting to win against RCB to move up the ladder with the match happening at Jaipur also gives them an advantage.

RCB’s middle order hasn’t fired in this season and that has mainly led to their downfall in many games. Apart from the top three of Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell, the Bangalore franchise has tried many options, with almost all failing to contribute.

Their bowling has also come down i the last two games with their ace pacer Mohammed Siraj and others going for runs.A win RCB will take them to points while RR will move to 14 and number three in the points table if they win this all important reverse fixture.
