El Clasico of IPL
Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings boast the bragging rights of being the most successful teams in the IPL. So much so, that the game is called as the ‘El Clásico’ of IPL. ‘El Clasico’ is a Spanish term which means ‘The classic’. The iconic clash between arch-rivals in La Liga, Barcelona and Real is often called ‘El Clasico’.
Similarly, CSK and MI are two of the most successful teams in IPL history and boast of very passionate fan bases. Hence the clash between the two Indian giants is often known as ‘El Clasico’ of IPL.
CSK vs MI head to head
Both teams have played a total of 36 games in IPL so far. In these games, MI have been successful in winning 20 matches while CSK have won 16 games. As stated above, both sides will clash once again in the El Clasico of IPL to be played on April 14 (Sunday).
