WTC Final 2023: IPL 2023′ Emerging Player Yashasvi Jaiswal featured in his first practice session for India. The youngster who was brought in as a replacement for Ruturaj Jaiswal. The Rajasthan Royals batter was seen practicing some cool shots at the session. Jaiswal is yet to make his debut and it is highly unlikely that the 21-year old will get a chance to feature in the India vs Australia World Test Championship Finals at the Oval starting on 7th June. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will open the innings for India. Jaiswal has been brought on as a standby player for Ruturaj Gaikwad who is set to get married in a couple of days.

The young batter who has travelled with the squad to England will now get much needed tips from the senior members of the squad that will greatly increase his batting qualities. One such example is Virat Kohli. The prolific batter was witnessed sharing tips with the youngster.

Yashasvi Jaiswal got heaps of praises from the cricket pundits after his stunning performance in the recently concluded Indian Premier League.

“Yashasvi Jaiswal for me and by a long margin for sure. He is a young player and has got all the shots in the book. He has a calm and composed temperament at the wicket and I love what he does, dominating the bowlers and always looks like he is in control. Shubman is a little bit older, I think Jaiswal’s got a long way to go, and he has all the credentials to become a great,” aid AB de Villiers.
