CSK may have found a replacement for Ravichandran Ashwin, who retired from IPL in August. GT is ready to make a cash deal with CSK for Washington Sundar. GT had bought the spinner for INR 3.20 crore but played him in just 6 matches. The inability to use him effectively is why he’s being traded.

MI homecoming for Ishan Kishan?

MI, KKR, and RR are interested in acquiring Ishan Kishan from SRH. All three teams have struggled with wicketkeepers in IPL 2025 and have approached SRH for a cash trade before the mini auction. But the Sunrisers aren’t too keen to let him go. However, Kishan himself may want to go to the auction.

Hardik Pandya injury update

Hardik Pandya’s on track to feature in the India vs South Africa white-ball series. The all-rounder had suffered a quadriceps injury on his left leg during the 2025 Asia Cup and missed the Australia tour subsequently. Luckily for Hardik, he won’t require surgery and is expected to regain fitness by mid-November.

Sarfaraz Khan asked to change position

Rishabh Pant is the reason behind Sarfaraz Khan missing out on the India A squad. The selectors feel there are too many options for numbers 5 and 6, with Pant, Dhruv Jurel, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, and Nitish Kumar Reddy all contending for these two spots. So, if Sarfaraz wants to play Test cricket, he should try batting at number 3.

WPL 2026 auction details

The WPL 2026 mega auction will take place on November 26 and 27 in New Delhi. The purse will remain the same, INR 15 crore. Teams will be allowed 5 retentions or RTM cards. No more than 3 capped Indian players, 2 overseas players, or 2 uncapped players can be retained.
